ALANA Dessert Reception at Alumni Homecoming

ALANA students, alumni, family and friends are invited to a dessert reception during the fireworks at Alumni Homecoming at Fall Fest on Saturday, Oct. 13. Enjoy the fireworks as they fill the sky over Grey Towers Castle.
The reception begins at 7:15 p.m. on the Rieders Terrace, the patio outside of the Commons. After the fireworks, the reception moves inside for dessert, coffee and conversation on the Commons to the second floor.
The ALANA and International Student Dessert Reception celebrates Arcadia’s students and alumni of African, Latino, Asian, Native American descent and of international status. The reception, hosted by the Alumni Association and the Office of Institutional Diversity, is free of charge. Share Your Interests, Expertise with First-Year Students
Arcadia now offers alumni fun, meaningul ways to connect with students through the First-Year Seminar program. As a guest speaker or presenter, or as the host of a class trip, an alum can share his or her expertise with a small class of freshmen.
FYS courses cover special topics and unique themes, including “Must Love Dogs,” “Youth Rebellion in Film and Literature” and “Well-behaved Women Seldom Make History.” View course descriptions and complete an interest form.
Read more about students FYS experiences in the Bulletin.
Note: Not all alumni who complete an interest form will be selected. |
