Pack Your Bags for An Umbrian Adventure
Arcadia University's Alumni Travel Program presents a new and unique personal travel experience: An Umbrian Adventure with Dr. Richard Wertime, Professor of English, on July 19 to 28, 2012. Limited space available! $1,450 per person plus airfare.

"Umbria! It folds itself neatly into the very heart of Italy, away from the sea, beneath Tuscany’s right elbow," writes Dr. Wertime. "And right at its heart lies the Umbrian Valley—la Valle Umbra—whose sparkling necklace of towns circle a flat, generous plain filled with farms and tidy vineyards. And what towns these are! Perugia. Assisi. Spello. Foligno. Trevi and Spoleto . . . and in the middle of the valley, where the hills begin to lift, the other fine towns, Montefalco, Bevagna. And so many more." More.
