Center for Education Abroad

The nationally ranked Arcadia University Center for Education Abroad is recognized as one of the largest campus-based study abroad programs in the United States. The Center initiates foreign study for Arcadia students and students from other U.S. universities. Students may also enroll in special academic programs that Arcadia has established for American students in foreign countries.

The Center maintains over 100 programs in the United Kingdom (England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland), Australia, Equatorial Guinea, Greece, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, Mexico, Scotland, and Spain, attracting more than 2,000 students from nearly 300 American colleges and universities annually. The Center offers programs for summer, fall or spring term or for a full year, in addition to special programs of varying durations. Study in France and Korea is available through separate programs offered by the Office of International Services.

Additional Study Abroad Opportunities at Arcadia

First-Year Study Abroad Experience (FYSAE). Arcadia University offers a rare opportunity for a select group of our incoming first-year students. Open by invitation to first-semester freshmen, this exciting study abroad program offers students an opportunity to spend the fall semester studying and living in England or Scotland as part of a special Arcadia University Center for Education Abroad initiative.

London/Scotland Preview. Each year, Arcadia University sends first-year students in good standing to London or Scotland for a week of learning and discovery. The students pay just $245 for this cultural exchange, including airfare, housing and programming. This innovative program exposes first-year college students to the many advantages and rewards of study abroad. Previews also encourage students to undertake an international education experience later in their undergraduate years.
