Blankley Alumni House
Named for Arcadia alumnus Rosemary Deniken
Blankley '57 in 2005, this building was formerly known as Blake Hall,
and was the gatehouse of the Harrison Estate. The stone arch to the right
of the building was the original entrance to the estate, and adjacent
to the building is the Moon Gate, which was restored several years ago.
The exterior stonework of Blankley Hall was restored in 1998, under a
grant from the State of Pennsylvania. The interior was partially restored
in 1995 to provide space for its current occupants—the University
Alumni and Development
offices.
