The University has intercollegiate athletics in baseball, basketball, golf, soccer, swimming and tennis for men; and basketball, field hockey, lacrosse, soccer, softball, swimming, tennis, and volleyball for women. Arcadia University is a National Collegiate Athletics Association (N.C.A.A.) Division III institution and also competes in the Middle Atlantic States Athletic Conference (MAC), Freedom Division. The Equestrian Club is co-ed and competes in the Intercollegiate Horse Show Association (IHSA).

To participate in varsity sports, students must be enrolled full time and in good academic standing with the University.

All team uniforms and equipment are issued with the stipulation that all articles must be returned to the Department of Athletics and Recreation within one week of the date of the last scheduled contest. If this is not done, you will be billed through the Business Office for the replacement cost of the article.

The intramural program allows students the opportunity to participate in activities that include volleyball, indoor soccer, low-impact aerobics, water aerobics, flag football, basketball and softball. There is also a fitness program for students who like to work out by themselves.

Information regarding club sports and intramural sports is posted throughout the academic year. For more information, contact the Department of Athletics and Recreation, Kuch Recreation and Athletic Center, 215-572-2982.
