Welcome to Volume 4 Number 4

This year's spring break saw Arcadians scatter around the globe for a variety of purposes. In addition to London and Scotland Preview, this year we added Spain and Italy. Groups of students, faculty and staff traveled south to Louisiana and Mexico to volunteer to do construction. The softball and baseball teams also went south. This issue of Global Matters contains articles from participants in three of the spring break experiences: the first in the Yucatan Peninsula, the second in a small Louisiana town ravaged by hurricane Katrina, and the third the first Preview experience for transfer students. In keeping with previous editions of Global Matters,  the England section contains two reflections written by Arcadia students related to their study abroad experiences.

This issue is organized differently than previous issues of Global Matters. The articles are grouped by country. By clicking on the links on the left, you can gain access to the pieces written about the country whose name is on the button.
