M.B.A. Students Go to Paris to Study Euro Disney
At Euro Disney S.C.A., students met with Nicole Lopez, Vice President of Investor Relations and Business Planning, and Julien Kauffman, Vice President of Business Optimization. They focused on the case study of Disney’s expansion into the France market, and the discussion encompassed the challenges faced by Disney and the company strategy and plan over the 10 years since opening. The presentation concluded with a tour of the Disney property that showed current and planned development for all phases of the Disney operation in France.
During this trip to France, students met with Jerome Clausen, Senior Project Manager of Invest in France Agency (IFA). IFA has offices all over the world and helps company leaders get the most of their investments and operations in France. Clausen provided an in-depth presentation that addressed the advantages of investing and operating in France and current large investments made by U.S. companies.
Students also had the opportunity to meet with the French company Air Liquide, is a world leader in gases for industry health and the environment. Martha Heitzmann, Vice President for Group Research and Development, provided a presentation that focused on technology innovation, European competition, presence in the United States, and prospects for growth.
In addition to on-campus cohorts, Arcadia’s 22-month M.B.A. also is offered fully online—except for the Arcadia’s unique international experiences.
