Campus NewsArcadia University Students Help with Flood Clean Up The 12 men and two women, many wearing red Class of 2013 T-shirts, hauled lumber, tree branches and metal that had been dumped by the flood waters and loaded it into a Township truck for disposal. They dug out a fireplace that had been filled with dirt. They broke up asphalt that had been displaced and piled rock and concrete in a rut formed by the rising river. Kevin Iwanski, a first-year student at Arcadia from South Jersey, said that his hometown often floods, and he is accustomed to pitching in to help clean up. "This is fun to do," said Iwanski. "I have only been here (at college) for three days and I'm bored sitting around the dorm." He said that he'd rather be out helping and doing something constructive.
