Campus NewsShared Endeavors: Two Sets of Twins to Enter D.P.T. Program The Eisennagels also participated in Italy Preview—a week-long tour of the country open to all transfer students. Ashley says, “My most memorable experience was definitely Italy Preview. I loved it! It was such a great trip and, for the price, it was the best deal. I would recommend it to anyone.” Of course, sharing the experience with a twin has many perks, and these women say they rarely fight. They save money and time by sharing books and class notes and reminding one another of upcoming assignments. “We do just fine when we're apart, but it's such an advantage to have someone you work well with by your side,” says Meredith. “We are a lot alike, but one twin usually knows certain aspects of the material better than the other twin so we can help each other out.” “Being able to study together is a blessing and a plus because not everyone has a permanent study buddy like we do,” says Ashley. Both pairs of young women are thrilled to enter Arcadia’s D.P.T. program and begin the final path toward the career of their dreams. “I am very excited about entering the D.P.T. class of 2011 and am proud to be a part of a program recently recognized by U.S. News and World Report as [having] a top 10 PT program,” says Caryn. “I have heard nothing but good things about the program and the faculty in it, and I can't wait to be part of such an honored program,” Ashley says. As the twins begin the second chapter of their Arcadia careers they look forward to the new faculty and friends they will meet and are grateful to have had the pleasure of working with those in the Psychology department.
