Student Presentations

bip-studentpresentationMany biology students become involved in faculty-sponsored scientific research projects.  These undergraduate research opportunities provide valuable skills to prepare students for graduate school or scientific careers.  These students often use the experience as part of an independent study in biology or as the basis for their senior thesis.  In the past few years, students have presented their work at a variety of local and national scientific conferences.  In 1999, three biology students traveled to Miami Florida to present their work at the national Society for Neuroscience meeting (pictured here).
