M.B.A. Program Launches Cohort Challenge (Continued)

Just launched, the Cohort Challenge is raising money to provide tuition assistance scholarships to students in need of support for their education. The Challenge allows alumni to work together and stay connected while supporting Arcadia’s M.B.A. students. “We want to continue to bring together the Cohort members to work as a team,” says Richardson.

Cohort 8 already has met the Challenge by raising more than $28,000 toward a student scholarship. This brings the total amount of funds raised by graduates of the M.B.A. program to more than $30,000.

By following Cohort 8’s lead and raising at least $25,000, the other cohorts also can establish a named endowment that allows contributions to be invested to generate income for scholarship assistance to students. “For the students who receive the scholarship, this will provide them with the opportunity to select a continuously developing program like Arcadia's that is growing to meet the needs of today's global business students,” Richardson says.

Each cohort has a challenge leader who will track progress and come up with ideas on how to reach the $25,000 goal. A plaque will be displayed on campus identifying the cohorts that complete the Challenge.

All levels of giving are welcome. There are a variety of payment plans, and donors can spread out their donations over five years. For more information, contact Drusilla Buscemi at 215-517-2523 or buscemid@arcadia.edu.
